Republicans block Democrats' war funding bill - CNN.com

Strange that CNN casts this as a defeat for democrats. This looks like a victory to me. Funding for the occupation of Iraq is finally hitting some roadblocks.
The great hope is that the supermajority required for cloture in the Senate will not be available and the military will be brought to heel.
